These Terms and Conditions cannot be altered without our written consent. The Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. Please contact us if you have any questions with regards to the Terms and Conditions.
We aspire to ensure that all the products on our website are as accurately described as possible. However, we reserve the right to amend any errors or inaccuracies at any time, including after you have placed an order. We endeavour to also ensure that all colours are displayed accurately. Note the colour of our product images that you see on our website may vary depending on your monitor. We do not guarantee that colour will be an exact match to the actual product. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colours, information, pictures or other content on our website are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free.
We reserve the right to withdraw any products from our website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on our website.
We will send a confirmation email after you have placed your order and payment is processed. Another email follows to advise that the order has been handed over to the courier company along with the tracking details. An order is considered complete when the product(s) is/are delivered.
In the unlikely event that a product is unavailable, we reserve the right to cancel your order prior to dispatch. We will contact you by email as soon as possible to let you know. You may choose to have a store credit to your account or a refund to the value of the unavailable product.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, where we suspect fraudulent activity, or where you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out, or otherwise contemplated, within these Terms and Conditions or our website. We also reserve the rights to refuse a sale or the fulfilment of an order before or after we have sent you an order confirmation at our sole discretion.
If you are located in the rural areas and the delivery fee of an order resulted in an unacceptably high freight charges, we will advise you for the additional charges. You reserve the right to cancel the order prior to dispatch. If either party wish to cancel the order under these circumstances, we will issue a full refund to you.
Custom printing requires (but not limited to) up to 5 working days turnaround time.
We will do our best to ensure that all custom printing jobs are being handled carefully to ensure the best result. You are responsible to provide the correct images, files and/or information for the printing. A mock up with be sent to you for your final approval before the printing commences. Once the final approval is given, you cannot make any more changes to the artwork. We are not responsible for any errors made on the printing resulted from the information given or the files or images that you provided. No refund will be given in this context. The cost of reprinting, fabric and postage applies should you require a new set of printing to be done.
We standby the quality of our printing and we make sure to check all printing job to ensure that they are of high quality before we dispatch it. Please note that the colour you see on your computer screen may defer to the actual product and slight variation is expected.
However, if errors on printing is resulted from our mishandling of information and/or printer, we will make the replacement at no additional cost.
Price, Payment and GST
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars and include GST. All payments are processed in Australian dollars. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Direct Deposit and PayPal.
Prices are subject to change without notice and we are not liable for any inconveniences caused directly or indirectly by the change.
When purchasing from Tall Black Chair, your credit card details is taken in a secure area, encrypted for our customers’ protection, and is not sold or shared with anyone else under any circumstances. We also do not keep your credit card information in our system. Your credit card information is being sent to the merchant facility directly without getting passed our system to be processed.
In an effort to prevent fraudulent use of credit cards or other payment options, we may put the order on hold for formal check which may include requesting proof of identity and/or a photocopy of the credit card. In the circumstances where we cannot reasonably rule out fraudulent card being used, we will cancel the order and notify you via email.
Vouchers / Promo Codes
Only 1 promo code can be used at checkout. Promo codes that we advertise will expire at the date mentioned in the advertisement and we reserve the right to discontinue any promo code without notice.
Promo codes will give you a discount on the total price of all items excluding the price of delivery unless stated otherwise.
If a promo code has been used inappropriately or have not met the terms and conditions from email newsletter or advertising materials; we reserve the right to cancel or edit the final price of your order.
Cancellation is acceptable for chairs without a custom printing job and it has to be requested before the order is dispatched. Cancellation is also acceptable for chairs with a custom printing job but it has to be requested before the printing commences. Once the mock up is approved, we will not accept any cancellation.
You may opt to receive a store credit voucher or refund in the amount you paid for the product including shipping in this case. We advise that the cancellation request to be lodged within the same working day after you have placed the order. Once the product is dispatched, we will not accept any cancellation.
Our chairs do not come with a warranty limited to the Australian Consumer Law. We stand by our product quality and durability and we endeavour to make sure that the product is in good condition before leaving our warehouse. However, if you find that the items sent to you are wrong, faulty or damaged, please advise us within 7 working days. We strongly advise our customers to inspect the chair upon receiving the parcel.
We own all intellectual property rights on our website including, without limitation, trademarks, copyright, logo, information, graphics, photographs, content, images, sounds and videos. You are not permitted to copy, publish or use any of the content in any way, whether personal or commercial, without our prior written permission.

Where our website contains links or references to other sites, resources, products or services provided by third parties, these links or references are provided for your information and convenience only. We have no control over the contents of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
